Our Team

Colleen Bouton joined Financial Architects, Inc in March, 2020 as the Front Desk Coordinator.  Part of her role as being the receptionist and the first person the client sees coming into the FAI’s office, is making sure all of the clients are comfortable and well taken care of before they meet with their advisor. Recently, Colleen expanded her role at the firm as our Culture and Engagement Coordinator. She oversees the team’s “CultureWise” program at the office which ensures that everyone is on the same page in reviewing our weekly fundamental behavior.

Colleen has over 20 years of administrative assistant experience in many different capacities: legal, medical, and insurance case management.  Colleen’s experience comprised of 10 years at the University of Michigan Research in different roles including the Board Secretary for the Institutional Review Board of the Medical School.  She was born in Kenmore, NY, a suburb of Buffalo, and is an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills.

Colleen and her husband, Jim, live in Plymouth, Michigan and have two sons.  Colleen loves spending time with her family and enjoys watching professional sports and planning parties.
