Christopher Cousins,

ChFC®, RICP®, CAP®, CEPA

Chris is President and co-owner of Financial Architects, Inc., and founder/co-owner of Empowering Futures, LLC and the LifeMethod™ Process. He is also a founding member of the Q5 Experience™, a strategic collaboration of experts focused on helping owners of companies successfully build transferrable value.

He spends time on business strategy and direction, in addition to working with entrepreneurs near or in the business exit stage of their lives. As a long-term entrepreneur himself, focusing in these areas of opportunity engages his core passions, understanding and experience.

Chris has earned professional degree credentials; The Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) in 2002, Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) 2010, and the Chartered Advisor of Philanthropy (CAP) 2015, all from the American College. In addition, Chris has attained the Certified Exit Planning Advisor accreditation (CEPA) from the Exit Planning Institute.

Related to community, and driven by his faith, Chris currently serves as a board member for Westside Christian Academy in Detroit, as well as a private family foundation. In addition, Chris is an active member of Vistage Michigan, a CEO peer group.

A quote by Dan Sullivan, founder of Strategic Coach: “We remain young to the degree that our ambitions are greater than our memories” illustrates his centrally important mindset.

A resident of Brighton since 1998, Chris and his wife Susan have two grown daughters.
