Cooper Does It Again

Cooper Marody

Apples do not fall far from the tree. It is an old saying and, at times cliche, but it definitely applies when talking about the Marody family. Our shareholder Patrick Marody and his wife Lisa have raised three terrific kids, including oldest son Cooper, who is a hockey star and now recording artist. Cooper today has released a new song on Apple Music and Spotify called “Agape.” The single is in honor of his former teammate with the Edmonton Oilers and Bakersfield Condors, Colby Cave, who died suddenly in April. Coop recently had been contacted by Colby’s wife, Emily, who asked him to write a song that represented their relationship. The Caves were recently married.

Please check out Cooper as he speaks with Sportsnet about how the song came about and what Colby and his wife Emily mean to him. All proceeds from the sing, “Agape”, are going to the Colby Cave Memorial Fund. As Patrick told our FAI crew, “I hope you will buy, download, or stream the song on repeat and help support a great cause. However, when you listen, you will want to have a Kleenex handy.”
