Kirk Jabara

My father Nayfe bought it new in 1967 on Mother's Day to surprise my mother, Nancy.   Dealer put "Nayfe Jabara" engraving above the radio - my mother gave him hell.  The engraving is still there today.

I was 10 years old when it was new.  Took my driver's test in the car.  My mother only put the top down when it was 70 degrees (that was the rule).  She gave me the car when I got my own place upon graduating from Albion.

We did a ground up "driver" quality restoration through Mike Stowe and Great Lakes Motor Works in 2000.  Restored the car in memory of my mother who passed away in 1992.

I drove the car around Lake Superior for the Circle Tour in 2007.

Now I had to get something with some modern technology, so I purchased this 2008 Mustang GT 4.6L 300HP, 5 speed!
