Colleen Egan

Colleen Egan has been an avid, no that’s not quit accurate…..a rabid Vette aficionado for years!  She blames the whole thing on her dad, Jim.  You can see her helping him wash their “give me a ticket” red 64 coup.

Colleen is a Senior Consultant in the Global Solutions Team with Verizon Business specializing in custom Help Desk and Data Center outsourcing. 

 On the side, she is a columnist and freelance writer for Corvette Quarterly Magazine.  She has written for Hagerty's Magazine as well.  Her racing photographs are featured on www.corvetteracing.com and her website noted below.  Her photography has also been featured on www.autoextremist.com and used in newspapers and magazines like The Detroit News, Detroit Auto Scene, Hagerty's Magazine and America's Sports Car Magazine.  She covered the NAIAS for Detroit Auto Scene and had several pix published there this year.  Colleen was also featured in the SpeedChannel tv show "The Last Stingray" and can be seen all through the History Channel documentary "The Making of the Corvette C6".

“I currently own a 1970 Corvette Coupe.  It's Laguna Gray with black interior, 4spd, 350/300.  Found it in a shed in Birch Run.  Had not really been driven in about 10 years so it took some work to clean it up and get it running but it turned out to be a real gem.  Runs like a champ now, needs no more big work other than maybe new exhaust.  Almost all original too and hope to keep it that way.  We called it a "10 footer".  Looks awesome from 10 feet.  Definitely needs paint and it is obvious when you get closer.”

Not bad for a kid from Walled Lake!  Colleen and her mom Dee have been planning clients of Ken’s for a number of years.  In fact Ken learned to hunt with her dad in Lewiston back in the 60’s.  Walled Lake is in their blood!
